Cant access xbox live :(

Im using eircom broadband + netopia modem/router.

I cannot access xbox live with my xbox 360 :mad:

i keep getting a ip adress failed.

before that though it passed every test but couldnt download the update to xbox live :mad:

anyone who has had this and can help?

in the command console type ipconfig/all and then manually put the info into your xbox

Is the DHCP server enabled on the router? Are the ports open for Live! ? Is the network cable faulty?

Crap... Have you tried connecting the Xbox directly to the Modem (not router) with a different Ethernet cable?

no cus, the router has the modem built in so its my only option :(

try contacting you provider, its usually either fault (i hear eircom and NTL are crap down south with BB)
