i tried to use the 3.03 dger, and i got the 1.5 update and renamed it to UPDATE.PBP, but it says it cant find UPDATE.PBP when i try to run it.
pleeez help

Maybe you didn't put it in the right folder?

i did , psp\game\update and thanks for the speedy response, theyve been slow lately on the help forum

That's strange, I followed everything that was said in the readme and it worked for me. Maybe formatting the memry stick would help? Some programs that I use that check for certain file somtimes act up when data errors occur on my memory stick.

I think that the update folder is meant to be like UPDATE
Try renaming the folder to UPDATE in capital letters

another solution is that you didnt need to put .pbp when you renamed it since the extention was there so now it cant find i because the file you have iscalled update.pbp.pbp so rename it to UPDATE without the extention .pbp and you should be fine

It has to be a pbp file......

my point was that he renamed the file UPDATE.PBP when the extention.PBP was already there so his file is named UPDATE.PBP.PBP when the downgrader looks for only UPDATE.PBP

That can happen if the file extensions aren't set to be displayed in Windows Explorer.

since im on mac i have to rename with the extention, kinda kool cuz i can rename anything :p im guessing that the guy fixed his problem? well lets see.. cuz u guys took all my ideas on how to fix this
