The FBI has arrested one member of the gang that stole 3,600 iPad Mini’s from JFK Airport last week.
According to Fortune (http://tech.fortune.cnn.com/2012/11/18/ipad-mini-fbi-arrest/?hpt=hp_t3), suspicions were raised when it was reported that Renel Rene Richardson, an employee at the airport, had been making an inordinate number of inquiries among co-workers about the shipment before it was stolen.
He allegedly acted as a lookout as two accomplices used the airports forklift trucks to load two pallets of the devices on to a waiting truck.
Police are still looking for the truck and the other two members of the gang.
Apparently a large number of brand new iPad Mini’s have appeared on sites such as Craigslist since the heist.
