Nintendo of America president Fils-Aime has indicated he's hopeful of seeing Rockstar release Grand Theft Auto V (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/xbox-360/action/11195/grand-theft-auto-v/) on Wii U (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/nintendo-wii-u/games/12079/wii-u/).
The GTA V release date (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/375700/gta-v-release-date-confirmed-pc-version-not-mentioned/) will fall in spring 2013 on PS3 and Xbox 360, and asked this week about the possibility of a GTA game coming to Nintendo's new console, Fils-Aime told MTV (http://multiplayerblog.mtv.com/2012/11/19/reggie-discusses-raising-the-bar-the-diversity-of-nintendos-fans-reggie-asks-and-gta-v-moments-before-the-wii-u-launch/): "The folks there have said very nice public comments about the Wii U.

He added: "The main thing is we are not... we are a third-party publisher. We're not Nintendo, we're not Sony, we're not Microsoft. We love all of them in different ways. But we can do what we want wherever there's the appropriate business opportunity and chance to find a market."
