I'm really interested in using MapThis! for my PSP, but I was wondering if it does any Coordinate Translation to WGS 84 (NAD 83).

As well as a in-car navigator, I would like to use MapThis! as my GPS receiver for Geo Caching (http://www.geocaching.com/). However the Geocaching co-ordinates are stored in WGS 84 (or NAD 83) format (e.g. N 52° 14.026 W 001° 01.756). Although Jeeep.com (http://www.jeeep.com/details/coord/) have translation, it would be easier (as I just print out the details) to have the same coordinate style on the PSP.

Does MapThis! allow entry of a given coordinate 'on the go', or do you have to set it up before you leave the house? Also, does MapThis! display bearing and distance information?

I've searched the site, but no-one seems to have asked this question, apologies if they have.

thanks for any help,

Does anyone have an idea?

Is the source code available so I can make the modifications myself? I did read in one of the origianl posts that it was released. Is it released in the rar file?

Does Deniska mind other people updating the code? (obviously I would let it be available for others)

If you just read the info on the front page carefully, you'll find answers to most of your questions...
http://deniska.dcemu.co.uk/

in short, coordinates only displayed in decimal form...
you can save current coordinates in POI files
source is usually attached to any non-beta distribution
