Japanese hardware sales, Jan. 22 - Jan. 28

The latest hardware sales are in and most consoles are still in decline, the sales figures for the PS3 seem extremely low. DS Lite and Wii are miles infront still:

- DS Lite: 194,526
- Wii: 83,754
- PSP: 35,700
- PS2: 20,995
- PS3: 19,996
- Xbox 360: 7,365
- Game Boy Micro: 1,177
- GBA SP: 1,023
- Gamecube: 347
- DS Phat: 82
- GBA: 34

The 360 seems to be doing better, jumping from its average 4000 units a week to 7000. I really want to know how many DS's (Including the phat one) have been sold in Japan, My guess is upwards of 14 million.

I'm surprised the sales gap between PS2 and PS3 is just by 1000. I thought the PS3 figure would be much lower as it's one highly expensive console.
