Here's version 1.2 of XMP.

Changelog:
-No more crashing.
-Album Artwork support (thanks to Homer for the help).
-More bug fixes.
-Wav,Ogg,Mod,S3m,IT support added.
-All music now appear correctly (PSP/MUSIC)

Controls:

X Button : Pause current Mp3
O Button : Play/Resume Mp3
[] Button : Stop current Mp3
L Button : Access "Now Playing"
R Button : Access "Library"

3.03 OE users:

-Make sure it is located in PSP/GAME150
-Make sure your music are in PSP/MUSIC


Album Artwork info :
-Having a corrupt image or a huge one will refuse to play Mp3

Great job but there is something strange.
In the library i have three songs.
The list is like this:

.
..
first song in mp3
second song in ogg
third song in ogg

When i want to play the first song, i need to choose "..". For the second, i have to choose the first and for the third i must choose the second. If i choose the third, i have an error. Is it normal?:)

Hmm... it is very nice! Great work.

One suggestion I have, however... I am a fan of the game "Stepmania" for the PSP, and all of the music in the game is located in specific folders. I would like to listen to the music, but since they are not located in PSP\MUSIC folder I can't listen to them. Worse yet, each song is in its own folder. Therefore, I suggest file browsing.

In the next release, can u add the format for playing .XM music, like from keygens, its more popular and the files are majorly compressed, like a 2:30 sec song is 16kb

It's ok for the Library but not for Now Playing.
The song which appears in Now Playing is the song after the one i chose in Library.
I don't know if you understand what i'm trying to say but english is not my native language^^;

it's coded in lua. as far as i know, you can't play wma in lua...(sniff*). in fact, mp3 is originally not supported either. the eboot of this app is special since it is a modded lua player which supports mp3's.

You can add WMA support, even AVI, but you have to modify Lua Player ;).

Sorry to sound like a n00b, but since you don't have a README file for the program, where do you put the album art?

Album art are supposed to be inside the MP3 itself, use iTunes or any other application to add them.

Spork, what firmware are you? If 3.03 OE then all the following folders should be there even if empty:
GAME
GAME150 <------ Place XMP here.
GAME320

BTW, when adding BMP Album Art into iTunes, it automatically converts to PNG.
So BMP Artwork is working ;).

Look, I know this application is great and all, but one question. Can xandu's add playlist in it also, so i won't have to search for the music i want to listen to. you would downgrade to 1.5 then upgrade to 3.10 oe a' but you cant cause there is no 3.11 downgrader yet. all you can do is sit and pray for a downgrader

PS: Lyrics will be added straight from iTunes no need for external files.
