Mass Effect 3 producer Mike Gamble has spilled a few details on the next game in the science fiction shooter series.
Gamble told Gamer Syndrome (http://gamersyndrome.com/2012/video-games/gamersyndrome-talks-with-bioware-about-the-mass-effect-series/) that the current plan is to launch the game in “late 2014 to mid-2015”, with more info on the game to be revealed sometime next year.
"Late 2014 to mid-2015. I honestly can't tell you an exact because full development on the game started a month or two ago,” Gamble said.
Last month, Mass Effect executive producer Casey Hudson confirmed Bioware had begun working (http://www.mcvuk.com/news/read/new-mass-effect-game-in-early-stages-of-design/0106200) on “a completely new Mass Effect game.”
Bioware also revealed last month that the title would be developed by BioWare Montreal, instead of Edmonton, and is to run on the same Frostbite engine Dragon Age III: Inquistion (http://www.mcvuk.com/news/read/developer-cv-states-dragon-age-iii-to-launch-in-2014-as-next-gen-title/0107155) will utilize.
