View Full Version : I have the winRAR, i have a game picked. NOW How do i put it on my psp?

ive installed winRAR and im trying to unzip the game SuperMario. everytime it will say that the file is dameged or something. so...

1.were do i save it to
2. how do i exstract it
3. how do i put it my psp


Ive gotten some help from others but not enough so please help!

Extract it where ever, put the folder in PSP/GAME. I'm assuming you have a homebrew compatible PSP (most likely 3.10 OE-A.)

no, does that mean version cause mine is 2.81 or is homebrew something else?

If you're trying to get a homegrew game to work on your PSP, it's not going to work on version 2.81.

you could upgrade to 3.03, because there is no downgrader for 2.81, then use the 3.03 downgrader to downgrade to 1.5...

i would recommend the 3.03OE-C (unless this new 3.10 one is stable, i havent had the time to look into it yet) as far as i know you need 1.5 to upgrade to the OE-C, but i am not sure about that, so dont quote me on it...

If it is saying the file is damadges on winrar. I suggest re-downlaoding file

The odds are it is saying this file is corrupt or this cannot be started.

partial download. u get a sililar thing on this site, it doesnt download all the file u have to try it a few times till u get it to download it all.

but after a downgrade i wont be able to play newer umd. could i? wat if i had a memory stick for homebrew and one for reg. game and stuff. would that work out.

yeah, if you upgrade to the 3.10OE-A, the psp is basically a v3.10 psp, but with homebrew capabilities (it is for 3.03OE-C so im assuming thats how it is for 3.10OE-A, i havent upgraded yet)
