It appears to be that the 3DS has been hacked. GBAtemp member OzModChips recently tweeted a picture that shows a powered-on Nintendo 3DS console displaying a message - "WE HACKED IT!". The information has been confirmed by various scene members among which crediar (javascript:imageViewer2("crediar Tweet","http://img.files-ds-scene.net/news5/confirmed.png");) and yellows8. yellows8 also stated that the hack was possible through a game save exploit (he did not mention which game though).
