I'm looking a small program for windows can i can add rss feeds to that "pops up" with any new stories while I'm working on something, like when msn pops up when you get a email or someone logs on. It would save me time, constantly checking sites for new news every so often. I really want just a Lite app, nothing resource heavy

any ideas?

well i not gett vista, i want something small and free

RSS is basicly a standard format for news

http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/external.php?type=RSS2&forumids=43

its in XML, it means other sites or apps can display the news, (thats how our recent topic work on the main page)

you can see that http://www.dcevolution.net/ take a rss feed from our dc news site (on the top left corner)

if you mean setting up the sidebar on XP
I use this - http://www.windowsxlive.net/?p=834
have used this - http://www.thoosje.com/

both are excellent, the first is best, due to it being the official sidebar ported (kinda) to XP.

But the RSS gadget only has feeds from MS.com I want one for other sites like digg.com
