Following confirmation that Splinter Cell: Blacklist (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/xbox-360/action/12730/splinter-cell-blacklist/)'s US release date (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/386904/splinter-cell-blacklist-release-date-delayed-to-august/) has been delayed, Ubisoft has confirmed a UK release date of August 23, 2013.

The game is the first title developed by Ubisoft Toronto and will feature single player, co-op and Spies vs. Mercenaries modes. There's still no word on the rumoured Wii U version of the game, which was listed online by US retailer Best Buy (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/353270/splinter-cell-blacklist-may-be-headed-to-wii-u/) last year.
