Sony's PlayStation Mobile initiative was made live in October (http://www.mobile-ent.biz/news/read/playstation-mobile-goes-live/019525), offering users of the PS Vita and certified-Android devices (Sony Xperia and HTC One lines) access to exclusive games content.
A month later and the firm introduced the platform's tool kit to developers in Japan, North America, Europe, and Australia (http://www.mobile-ent.biz/news/read/sony-initiates-playstation-mobile-developer-programme/019912). The SDK has now been made available in Hong Kong and Taiwan, with developers in the markets noted as being increasingly focused on creating entertainment content for multiple mobile devices.
The annual licensing agreement fee will cost 800HK$ (around $105) for Hong Kong and 3,000NT$ (again, around $105).
Sony, said: "SCE will further accelerate the expansion of PlayStation Certified devices and continue to collaborate with content developers to drive the delivery of compelling entertainment experiences through PlayStation Mobile."
