Samsung has lifted the lid on two new smartphones prior to the upcoming MWC 2013 show in Barcelona later this month, Mobile Magazine (http://www.mobiletoday.co.uk/News/23972/Samsung_reveals_two_handsets_ahead_of_MWC.aspx) has reported.
The first of the new devices arrives in the form of the Galaxy Express; a 4G LTE-enabled device, which will go on-sale by the end of June.
Aimed primarily at ‘the young social explorer’ the device doesn’t pack quite the same punch as the Galaxy S III, yet it does come with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, a 4.5-inch screen and runs on Android’s Jelly Bean operating system.
The Galaxy Express will also feature a five-megapixel camera and a 1.3-mega-pixel front facing camera.
Meanwhile, the Korean manufacturer has also revealed its XCover 2 smartphone, which is designed to be water resistant for up to half an hour to the depth of one metre. Its rugged design will also render it sand and dust proof.
There is currently no release date set for the XCover 2, but it has been revealed that it will run on a 1GHz dual-core processor and has a four-inch screen.
