Sony has submitted a patent for a pillow covered in electrodes to help you get a better night’s sleep.
The electrodes measure brain waves to determine when the user falls to sleep and wakes up.
A timer starts once the users enters a light nap, the pillow records the various stages of sleep, and when the user exits REM an alarm goes off to wake them at the perfect moment.
There will be a number of different ‘alarms’ to wake users up, including a buzzer, a flashing light, and a bed shaking monitor.
