doesn't the toggle usb button connect it?

I think it does on 3.10OE-a?

try that and put a recovery pack in.

you put the contents of that in the game folder, then you need a 1.5 firmware, then you rename it to 'UPDATE.PBP' then throw that in there too.

that is if you can get into the psp files through the recovery.
