GPF has released another build of the Commodore 64 Emulator for the Nintendo DS. Heres whats new:

ok I think I've made some definite improvements to the sound code, to me its the best sounding yet.

I hope that reenabling sound doesn't break the menu or the emulator again lol, I've tested it on my ds-x and my m3sd and seems to work fine on the couple games I tried.

Well of to play some M.U.L.E.

Enjoy,
Troy(GPF)

If this is fast and reliable, I will buy a DS! Any info?

If it runs on the standard version of Frodo (not Frodosc.exe or Frodopc.exe) then it runs on FrodoDS.
Sound is decent but not perfect(although some games it's damn near).Speed is very good, although some games seem "jumpy" or too fast.
There is no save state.
Disk swap works, as does the reset and joystick swapping.
All and all it is a fantastic emulator, and he is still working on it, so I imagine save states and more preferences are on the way.
I got the DS just because of this emulator and it's touch screen keyboard(which could be a little bigger), once save states are working all those great c64 rpgs and wargames that work in frodo will be playable on the go! I can't stand virtual keyboards on "d-pad" handhelds.
You may want to wait and see though, it's up to you. I'm not going to lie and tell you it matches VicePSP or GP2X but for me it's the only way.
