NEO spring coding contest 2007 for NDS(GBA) and PSP first announcement

Our affiliates over at Neoflash have announced the start of their DS/GBA and PSP Coding Competition for Spring 2007, in my opinion the best coding comp of last year was Neoflash.

Heres the newspost from Dr Neo:


NEO spring coding contest 2007 for NDS(GBA) and PSP first announcement

* NDS(GBA) and PSP Game division
There will be 10 winners for NDS(GBA) game and 10 winners for PSP game, total 10+10 winners.

* NDS(GBA) and PSP APP division
There will be 10 winners for NDS(GBA) App and 10 winners for PSP App, total 10+10 winners.

For the NDS App, the main concept is for MK5 GIGA system / MK motion cart and NEO2/3 applications,it's mean you will have more chance to win with an Apps using the full hardware function.

The rule of NEO spring coding contest 2007 is very simple, just same with NEO summer coding contest 2006:
[1] You can enter the GAME contest and APP contest both.
[2] You must put the splash screen of "NEO spring coding contest 2007" to your production.

The top 10 prize list for NDS(GBA) and PSP contest,4 division are same:

The No.1 : Nintendo Wii one set or NDS Lite console one set or PSP one set (winner can choose) or us$200 cash.

I can't because of my job. Either way I would not enter in the first place. If i did it would try being an amazing game that mocks neoflash.

I could also code s#!tload of stuff for the PSP, but my mommy doesn't let me to do, until I finish my homework.. :rofl:

His contract states that the company owns everything he does code wise, therefore if he enters this contest with something he done while in the the employ of the company, he becomes in breach of the contract since he has distributed something that belongs to the company without prior permission and is at the risk of losing his job.

My contract is similar but restricted to work hours.

What he said. My contract states that what I do is property of work. My boss also fully knows what I do at home for fun because it also helps further my self with in the company as well helps me get into projects I want to be on.

Yes and no. Mostly just using it to still tinker with N64 DD emulation. Havent gotten far and havent had much time to toy with the DD unit still.

* Do they send prizes to another countries? I´m from Brazil :)
* Could I use Ripped Sprites from other games? So I would have more time to focus only in gamePlay and Presentation.


* where can I download the last summer´s homebrews?
