Battlefield 4 is already being shown off to partners of publisher EA.
We know this because GameStop CEP Paul Raines said the following yesterday via his chain’s Twitter account (https://twitter.com/GameStop/status/303993777167667200):
“Got to see Battlefield 4 today and all I can say is WOW! Thanks @EA for the sneak peek. Can’t wait for you all to see it. #BF4”
