Ubisoft will shortly unveil Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, if leaked images online are to be believed.
Kotaku (http://kotaku.com/5987035/assassins-creed-iv-is-all-about-pirates-according-to-this-poster) has obtained a poster naming the game and seemingly picturing its protagonist who, surprise surprise, looks much like predecessors Connor and Ezio.
The Examiner (http://www.examiner.com/article/first-screenshot-of-assassin-s-creed-black-flag-surfaces?cid=db_articles) names him as Edward Kenway, father of Haytham Kenway and grandfather of the aforementioned Connor from Assassin's Creed 3.
The source who supplied the image to Kotaku also believes the embargo on the game’s announcement will lift on March 4th.
The most notable visual style to note is the use of pirate ships, which are expected to prove central to the plot and setting. Speaking of which, this poster (http://kotaku.com/5987172/the-other-side-of-that-supposed-assassins-creed-iv-poster-is-a-map) also identifies the Caribbean as the main location of the game. The pictured map also includes parts of Cuba, Jamaica and Florida.
Ubisoft is holding an AC-themed press event (https://twitter.com/MCVonline/status/303852155134169088) today, incidentally...
