Hi, i just got a psp with version 2.71 on it, I'm not sure what motherboard is on it, it says IC1003 under the umd slot, (think i read that, that means its a TA-082, but not sure). The stuff I've been reading says i cant downgrade with a TA-082, so i was hoping someone here could help me

It is now possible to downgrade a 2.71 TA-082(your motherboard).
Go here:
http://dax.st/
download Homebrew enabler for 2.71 Rev D.
Follow the readme to get it working on your psp.
When you have done that, download the TA-082 Downgrader from here:
http://downgrader.lan.st/
Follow the readme to downgrade

You might have to get 3.03 OE-A first... then upgrade to 3.10 OE-A. Make sure you dont get the sony update cos that would be very stupid. hehe. if you need help just pm me or probaly anyone else who is online.

Download 3.10 open edition REV A, not REV A2.
Follow the readme and install it.
This firmware is a mix between 3.10 and 1.50.
This means that you can use emulators and play UMDs that require any firmware up to 3.10.
