Good news for fans of portable fighting, because (deep breath) Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R has been confirmed for a western release on PlayStation Vita. The news comes via the official Blazblue Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/BlazBlue/posts/453757794695717), which notes that that the game is coming to the west, though there is "still no word" on exactly when that will happen.
We spent a few minutes trying out Accent Core Plus R during TGS 2012, and what we saw compared favorably (http://www.joystiq.com/2012/09/20/guilty-gear-xx-accent-core-plus-r-coming-to-japanese-vitas-in-20/) to the console version (http://www.joystiq.com/game/guilty-gear-xx-accent-core-plus), which was released last year.
