Pro-Messenger v1.3 Released

Qaz has released a new messenger application for the PSP thats basically like Trillian for your PSP. Sign in with your Yahoo, MSN and Aim accounts on any PSP with Internet access via Wifi.

Firmware: 2.70+
Space On Memory Card: 2.02 MB (2,121,728 bytes)
Internet Browser Set Up:

- Flash: On

[Tools] [Settings] [Cache Settings]
- Do Not Use

Instructions
1) Open up the Pro-Messenger.zip folder
2) Copy the folder inside the Pro-Messenger.zip folder
3) Paste the folder in the PSP / COMMON folder
4) Goto your PSPs Internet Browser and enter file:/psp/common/pro-messenger/index.htm
5) Add it to your bookmarks and your done

Looks nice. In the past i had difficulty using ebuddy on my psp. Maybe this will work alot better than before.

I remember something similar to this awhile ago it had a msn skin and then it just loaded the ebuddy page in the center. Is this the same deal or is there a new keyboard (other than the virtual psp one in flash) or something that actually improves ebuddy so it's more user friendly. I am in no way putting down the creator i'm just wondering or maybe you could implement something in future releases. Maybe you could somehow put that new keyboard that ZX81 made.

So this run through the browser? That stinks, it looks pretty cool I thougt it could replace AFKIM.

Is it possible that this could work with the PS3's browser or would the screen configuration throw that off? I think I am going to give it a try as I can't find any other way of using AIM on my PS3.

Nevermind, I can't find out how to download it to the PS3's hard drive. I guess I need some more time getting to know my PS3 :). They downside that I can see to this thing for the PSP though would be the keyboard and how the typing with Sony's keyboard is so slow.

I dont rly c much of a big diff btw this and AFKIM. I think that afkim is better since its an actual homebrew/ EBOOT. But thnx anyways. Well this is good for those that didnt downgrade or is at 3.10+ though. Thats like the only advantage i can think of. Im not tryin to flame. Im just curious. That is all. I like wat ppl r doing w/ the PSP and i support it.

Haven't tried this yet but will. I have 2.71 and can't get AFKIM to work on it.

Even if it doesn't work, it's nice that people are thinking about making alternatives that are nice to look at too.. Rather than just assuming everybody's going to be on whatever's currently most popular.

Wait, just for clarification, what is the text input for this? Is it the Sony keyboard? A virtual qwerty keyboard? Or is it a Danzeff keyboard like AFKIM?

It is the Sony keyboard as it's all done in your psp browser.

If we could just get the Danzeff keyboard on the browser I'd be happy. I can type a lot faster on that thing.
