Slated for release in April, Sony has begun accepting pre-orders for its Xperia Tablet Z device.
Available now from Sony's online store, the 16GB Wi-Fi only edition of the new tablet is available for £399, whilst consumers can bump up to the 32GB version for £449.
The site also details the 16GB LTE equipped edition of the Xperia Tablet Z. However, the model lacks any form of pricing or release date information, indicating the device will be offered later in the year.
Sony has stated that it will work to ship all of the pre-ordered devices by April 15th, which remains the only release information released by the firm.
O2 has too begun listing the device in its own online store, with potential buyers able to purchase the device as part of a contract. However, O2 remains tight-lipped on both pricing and release date information for the tablet.
Initially showcased at this year's Mobile World Congress show in Barcelona, the Xperia Tablet Z tablet boasts a 1.5GHz quad-core processor and Android's 4.1 operating system – which will be updateable to 4.2 following the device's release, says Sony.
The device also incorporated a 8.1MP rear-facing camera, 2MP front-facing camera and a 10.1-inch retina display.
