View Full Version : If you could wish any feature of your mind away, what would it be?

For me, it would be love (attraction of one person to another for the slow ones).

Why am I asking? I just found out, that the girl I like (I'm sure you remember) now has a boyfriend, even though she "doesn't have time for a boyfriend now".

Love seems like it's a waste of time, energy, resources, and feelings, and is only needed to reproduce.

Conclusion? I wish I could blow Cupid's gentiles off with my dad's twelve gauge shotgun right now

wish away the ability to wish of lobotomy!

edit:
I'm waiting for the train
Subway that only goes one way
The stupid thing that'll come to pull us apart
And make everybody late
You spent everything you had
Wanted everything to stop that bad
Now I'm a crashed credit card registered to Smith -
Not the name that you called me with
You turned white like a saint
I'm tired of dancing on a pot of gold-flaked paint
Oh we're so very precious, you and I
And everything that you do makes me want to die
Oh I just told the biggest lie
I just told the biggest lie
The biggest lie

the ability to think about my existence. without this ability or curse of awareness i would be free to simply live and do as i please without cause for fear.

This "guy" disaggrees.

I'm still just waiting for someone I like to show up so I can have a shot again.

I am so wimpy, that I had to tell her I like her with a computer monitor between us (myspace).

I would want to take whatever randomly makes me say no to friends when I'm offered the chance to go out. Way too often I'm told like "hey dude, we're going to some club whatever" and I decide to stay in instead of go, missing much adventure and such.

That's walter freeman, the doctor who came up with the first modern lobotomy procedure (where they stick something in your brain and rip stuff out).

It was nicknamed the "icepick lobotomy" because the first one performed was done with an actual icepick from his kitchen.

unless im mistaken, the destroyed brain tissue was not removed in the "icepick" operations..

@ acn010
i posted the pics because this procedure is what the thread is suggesting...[almost]

I was trying to explain the term lobotomy generally in the parenthesis, not this specific procedure ;) But yea.

I wish I could forget everything embarassing I ever did in my life. The worst one was when I broke into my old school on a Friday night and stripped in the hallway and danced around, then got dressed again, only to be found 5 seconds later by the office secretary.
