Hi All,

For those who has missed the beginning, Stella is on of the best emulator of Atari 2600 game console,
running on many different systems, such as Linux, Solaris, Windows, MacOS/X, WinCE, OS/2, GP2X.

It has been written initially by Bradford Mott, see Stella's site (http://stella.sourceforge.net) for details.

PSP2600 is a port on PSP of the version v2.2 of Stella. It's based on the work of * Aenea *
who was the first to port Stella to PSP, and David Voswinkel who's now in charge
of the PSP port in Stella team.

What's new in this version ?

- A new graphical engine with new smoother render modes !
It uses now the PSP GU for rendering, it does not run faster, but it's a lot smoother !
Old "soft" render modes are still available, because there are a bit faster.

- Multiple keyboard mapping feature (Thanks to Pou-chan) :
You can now toggle between 3 different keyboard mapping using LTrigger and RTrigger keys

It has been developped on linux for Firmware 3.03-OE and i hope it works also for 2.x
using the great eloader from http://www.noobz.eu/.

How to use it ? Everything is in the README.txt file.

Sources are included, and this package is under the GNU public license,
read COPYING.txt file for more information about it.

Enjoy,

Zx.

Beautiful, thanks zx!

I found the crazy game I remembered where the point seems to be to become obese, 'Fast food'.

Eat anything but the purple sausages and you progress to the next level with the message 'your getting fatter'. Eat too many purple sausages and you burp and the game ends.

I love retro games :)

Thank you for this awesome update zx-81. There are a lot of old school stuff out there but the 2600 was one of the most popular and most remembered.

Love this emulator.

Heh all these people calling this old-school is making me feel well... OLD. Have a care for the feelings of the people who lived it!! :D

Seriously though - great work ZX. I love your emulators and this one is great! Been playing with it for a while now to find something wrong and it just won't co-operate with me! Nice work! :)

Any way to get full screen?

Yes of course, you have to enter in the settings menu, and then to change the render mode option ...

Thanks for these emulators zx-81, I never had any of the consoles you have emulated as a kid and I can't believe how good they are to play nowadays. You have made my purchase of a psp worthwhile
