Activision and Raven Software game studios have open sourced a couple of their games (http://paritynews.com/software/item/918-star-wars-jedi-knight-jedi-academy-jedi-outcast-open-sourced) so that people can play as well learn from the code. The gaming companies have released the source code of Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy (http://sourceforge.net/projects/jediacademy/) and Jedi Outcast (http://sourceforge.net/projects/jedioutcast/) through SourceForge."
