Players tap to jump and flap in order to fly through "40 truly unique levels and more coming in updates." A multiplayer mode (http://www.joystiq.com/2013/01/15/former-redlynx-devs-badland-makes-good-in-march-multiplayer-sh/) crowds up to four people around the same screen, fighting to survive and pushing one another out of the way.
