View Full Version : I got the PSP camera!

I ordered it two weeks ago from Success HK, and it just came in today. The Chotto Shot UMD software is useless unless you can read Japanese. (which I cant, so I just use the camera feature in the firmware) So I might give that away or sell it or something. As bad as 1.3 mega pixels sounds, the picture quality isnt all that bad. The pictures and videos look better when viewed on a computer though.

Nice to know. Maybe I should get the camera and try it out.

I was able to play that sudoku demo that was in japanese before, you just need to play around in it a bit.

I'm hoping the sat nav kit will be out in the uk sometime soon??

The camera seems to much of a novelty to me with such a poor megapixel camera.

no, thats only if you use the umd software. but if you use the camera feature in the firmware, its endless

cool i ordered one off play-asia about a week ago. you said it took 2 weeks for you? bah thats a long time to wait..

nah, id give it a 7.5 or 8 in good lighting, but its not too good without it

yeah, i have it too. good quality, too bad it doesn't have flash.... but that would take a lot of battery power away.

The video is great, but it takes a lot of space. on the best quality, it takes about 30 mb for a minute of video.

meh, the PSP camera is decent, the lighting is alrite, if you dont have it just rite you have to change the setting.

the pictures and films look better on a computer though....maybe because of the pixels? :confused:

i give it a 6...

that video was done on the psp only? Thats pretty good quality if u ask me

its too gimmicky. the gps seems cool tho, but only if the software is in english. (i cant read that crazy long language either.)

they start off with a small 1.3mp and then they up it to 2 and then etc. then you HAVE to buy it because it is better. more money for sony :o

Help Please, I have just bought the psp camera when i plug it in i get an error message saying "Connect a camera that is compatible with the PSP system to the USB connector. (80108D50)" it is an official sony camera and am running PSP Sytem software Ver:3.51. Anyone have any ideas????

Make sure the two tiny square holes right next to the
USB port are not dirty--that's where the camera gets its electricity from.
