Which do you use and why?

I'm currently using Firefox 1.0. I'm a Mac user and have had some probs with Safari and yahoo mail so I've been using Firefox for a couple of months now and it seems fine.

Opera. They have it for almost every platform. (win, OSX, Linux, FreeBSD, QNX, OS/2, Solaris and many cellphones).

It works almost exactly like firefox (skinable like it too) except for it has everything (plugin-wise) already built in. It also has a built in IRC client and e-mail client.

Opera too. It's hassle free no need to download and install pluglins and has a nice spell checker all built in :) I used to be a FF user but Opera is way better now-a-days for me at least.

The email client is very nice.

Why do alot of people love Firefox. To me, web browsers are web browsers, i personally like IE2, its awesome with popups, that makes me sound like a hipacrit so i will also say, i like netscapes AIM build in, and regualr IEs simplicity.

On Windows, Firefox. Occasionally Opera, which is also a really good browser.
On Linux, usually Konqueror. Sometimes Firefox, but only on the rare occasion I find a page that doesn't work with Konqueror.

Doesnt really say too much about Opera Since it can identify as other browsers. I have it set to identify as MSIE 6.0 for compatability.

Opera is at 0.53 %, but as u said thats not 100% true.... still the i.e. vs firefox stat is interesting

i got a plugin for firefox so i don't get "you can not view this page, download I.E."

I have that plugin too DS69 but still find the odd page i absolutely have to use IE for, oh and incase you havent guessed im FF, tabbed browsing rocks!
