Hi all,
I'm confused...
For Bootdreams to make a selfbootable cd out of a folder, does the 1st_read.bin need to be scrambled or unscrambled?
Up until now i've only used SBInducer
Thanks in advance!

Other than what I wrote at DCEvo's QuakeDC page, it actually has to be scrambled if it's a KOS app (which is about everything homebrew except GypPlay, RetroSonic and QuakeDC).

To make a Selfbootable CD-R you must scramble your 1ST_READ.BIN (your boot file program). If you don't do that, your CD-R won't boot.

Thanks guys for the advice..
Can I just use binchecker to scramble the binary?

Yeah, BinChecker is a good program to scramble your binaries. BootDreams itself however does it too when you attempt to create/burn the CDI/disc.
