App discovery platform pulled by Apple gets 400,000 emails of support

The French company behind AppGratis, a discovery platform that was pulled by Apple from its App Store, has launched a petition to contest the removal and convince the distributor to change its mind.
Apple reported removed the title on April 6th for violating two of its App Store guidelines. The app direct user to free and paid-for apps, help developers reach users they may not have otherwise.

Now its makers have called on the apps’ user base to save it.
Speaking to PocketGamer.biz (http://www.pocketgamer.biz/r/PG.Biz/AppGratis+news/news.asp?c=50095), CEO Simon Dawlat said the decision to involve the AppGratis community was made because the platform’s foundations are in its user base.
“We reached out to our users and asked for their public support because it's important everybody understands AppGratis is first and foremost a community, a consumer service, an iOS app loved and used by millions in the world,” said Dawlat.
