Nintendo Wii sees record-breaking sales - over 5 million units in 3 months

Nintendo have announced that their revolutionary console, the Wii, has seen record-breaking sales since launch in every major region. Over 400,000 units were sold at the Japanese launch, 325,000 at the European and 600,000 at the North American launch and sales have not slowed since. Nintendo expect sales over over 6 million by the end of March

This whole separate dvd/play version of the wii, due later this year, comes off as a reward for the late adopters of the console. I would have just gotten one of the new wii's when they where released but now I have a couple hundred dollars invested in the vc channel, another wii seems unrealistic.
