Hi I was wondering if someone could please explain how I can change my XMB theme on 3.10OE to a custom one that I downloaded. The Zelda XMB theme to be exact, it comes with no readme file so I have no clue how to do it and I don't want to mess anything up on my PSP by playing around with the files.

It's probably the file structure layout of the topmenu_plugin.rco or the encryption that's applied to it which currently prevents custom XMB menus from working in 3.10 OE-A. Well, that's my guesss anyway.

If you can't do it on 3.10OE then why in the new thememagic application on the front news page does it have this, "If you have 3.10 OEA, please leave topmenu_plugin.rco out. " and does not mention that you can't use custom themes with 3.10OE, you just have to leave out the topmenu_plugin.rco.

I'm on 3.10OE and the only thing that doesn't work so far is topmenu_plugin.rco All others work, such as system_plugin_fg.rco, impose_plugin.rco etc

what dejkirkby said is true, only the topmenu doesnt work. the system foreground (system_plugin_fg.rco, battery indicator), impose (impose_plugin.rco, volume bar/busy circle), coldboot (opening_plugin.rco, boot sound/boot text/ boot wave) and other such customisations still work

The reason you leave out the topmenu is cos that is the only thing that wont work with 3.10 and just be careful with some font as they can stop popstation working not all just some
