BlackBerry has already revealed its BBM service is becoming available to Android and iOS (http://www.mobile-ent.biz/news/read/blackberry-declares-war-on-whatsapp-with-bbm-for-android-and-ios/021349) for the first time, and complements the news with the unveiling of the BlackBerry 10-powered Q5 smartphone, which it bills as 'youthful and fun'.
The new device sports a QWERTY keypad featuring shortcuts, a 3.1-inch touchscreen, Time Shift photo editing, Story Maker media editing, BBM Video, BlackBerry Hub and more.
The phone will be available in black, white and red, launching in selected markets in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Latin America in July.
