Gran Turismo 6 officially announced

The latest game in the racing simulator series will be released this holiday.At launch, there will be 1200 cars available, with more added online regularly. Six more locales will be added to the 27 in Gran Turismo 5, bringing the total to 33. 71 layouts of those tracks will be available to race on. There will also be some connectivity to smartphones and tablets, though what that will entail has not been detailed.
