Snapped at a retailer yesterday by yours truly. This year, two Dreamcast games have been released in Japan, and if this shop is any indicator, increase in the retro console has picked up considerably. Note to Sega: Stop making the crap Sonic games and start making Dreamcasts again. We're buying!

Actually I'm really looking for the disc to create the browser settings that allow my games to use the broadband adapter I have.

What are you doing in Japan??

Dreamcast popularity does appear to be up in Japan/Asia.

Last month Play-asia.com had stock of Dreamcast NTSC-J systems and several special NTSC-J console bundles (Hello Kitty, etc.)

Now, not one Dreamcast in stock.

Look at the other stuff nearby. A saturn and an American NES in original boxes? How are those not sold out yet? Those things are loved by collectors!

EDIT: I see a Genesis down there too! Looks like Heaven.

Oh... NOW I see the VIA kotaku link.
Well... I mean.... you could still be a pal and find me some twin sticks so I can play my Virtual on games.

I'm glad there is always a home for dreamcasts.

I wish I was a billionaire so I could make a system that could play ANY game. ESPECIALLY dreamcast games.

Way to sell dreamcast. If I were @ that shop, I'd have a feild day. I'd leave with probably a saturn, a few games and some of those boxed dc controllers.
