Samsung’s Galaxy S4 smartphone is set to hit sales in excess of ten million this week, Mobile Magazine (http://www.mobiletoday.co.uk/News/25283/Samsung_Galaxy_S4_to_smash_through_10_million_sale s_next_week.aspx) has reported.
Despite its initial supply issues, the Korean manufacturer has backed the Galaxy S4 with its biggest marketing campaign to date (http://www.mobile-ent.biz/news/read/samsung-embarks-upon-biggest-ever-marketing-drive-for-galaxy-s4/021265). This has played a crucial role in driving sales of the company’s new flagship device.
When sales do exceed the ten million mark, it will have reached said landmark in a far quicker time than the Galaxy S3, which took 50 days to record such sales.
According to The Korean Times (http://www.koreatimes.co.kr/www/news/tech/2013/05/133_135811.html), Samsung Electronics co-CEO Shin Jong-kyun, said: "We are confident that we will pass more than 10 million sales of the S4 next week. It is selling much faster than the previous model S3."
