This weekend’s all-German UEFA Champions League final between Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich will see Puma give Dortmund fans the chance to show their support through a series of tweet cheers, which can be posted alongside #TweetBVB.
To celebrate the biggest club event in the European football calendar, Puma has created a gallery of tweet cheers, which include a range of humorous pictures and jokes for Borussia Dortmund fans to use during the Champions League final against Bayern Munich.
The tweet cheer gallery will be free for fans to use and will be available via www.PUMABVB.com (http://www.pumabvb.com/)from Friday evening, as well as the official Puma twitter accounts @PUMA and @PUMAFootball. Fans can simply log on and tweet cheers directly from the site.
Remi Carlioz, head of Digital at Puma, commented: "Borussia Dortmund have some of the most passionate fans in the world and the way they have supported the team this season has been extraordinary. If they are as vocal on twitter as they are in the stands then they’re going to love the tweet cheer gallery that PUMA has created, which gives them a chance to show their support for the team and display their emotions on the night.”
Last season’s Champions League Final attracted around 295 million viewers worldwide, with 1.12 million tweets being generated on the subject, which averaged around 7,500 tweets per minute during the match itself.
