To celebrate its joining the glitzy golden ranks of gaming, Frictional Games has released a tasty demo for Penumbra: Overture, ahead of the first episodic instalment due on 30th March.
You'll get a chance to test-drive the first couple of levels, experiencing the advanced physics as you twist your brain into knots trying solving puzzles. Toddle over to the game's website to snatch the demo.
Penumbra: Overture is a first-person survival horror shindig that's based around puzzles rather than action. You'll play as Philip, whose search for his presumed dead father uncovers more than he was expecting, and he soon finds himself trapped in an underground complex in Greenland. As you do.
Here you'll have to use your wits over your braun, outsmarting your enemy rather than thumping them in the face.
The game will be released in three episodes, the first of which will cost you GBP 14.99 and is out at the end of the month.
