Despite not once naming the format in any of its press releases or marketing materials, Activision now says Call of Duty: Ghosts is getting a release on Wii U.
The revelation comes via Ghosts producer Mark Rubin in a video interview with GameSpot (http://uk.gamespot.com/e3/call-of-duty-ghosts-e3-2013-stage-demo-6409886/), as spotted by Kotaku (http://kotaku.com/call-of-duty-ghosts-will-release-on-wii-u-says-execut-512839699).
"We're not actually talking about the Wii U yet because we want to keep it mysterious,” he claimed. “That's PR guys, that's not my fault."
It remains to be seen whether the Wii U SKU will be timed to launch with the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC release on November 5th or at a later date alongside the Xbox One and PS4 versions. Or later than all of them. Or perhaps before.
