It's been nearly five years since the original Stuntman hit consoles, and in that timeframe a lot has changed. With a different developer and publisher behind the sequel, it's not hard to imagine why. We've had a one-film build of Stuntman: Ignition in the office for a couple days now and we've been playing the same three scenes over and over again to get a feel for what it's all about.

Whereas the first game gave you a handful of maneuvers to perform in each scene, with each stunt requiring painstaking precision, Stuntman: Ignition's scenes are bigger, a little more open and much more forgiving. Rather than having to nail a few stunts, you're given a number of opportunities to perform a bevy of death-defying tricks for each scene. The film in our preview build is entitled Aftershock, and while the ability to watch the preview of the movie that we've filmed is unavailable in our build, it's pretty obvious the movie is a disaster film where towns are destroyed by earthquakes and lava.
