Current Good linux?

I used to use linux, i used to have redhat and ive used lindowsOS before (my gosh lindows sucked).

Whats the best around ATM?

I don't know about the best, and I don't have any knowledge, really, but from what I've heard, both Fedora and Ubuntu are amongst the top notch of Linux distros.

I think I'm gonna install some distro this weekend to try out .. I've seen videos of Ubuntu running with some special effects programs, and I assure you, it looks a lot better than Vista, even.

I can confirm, Ubuntu, with the Beryl/XGL window manager, looks REALLY good, although, it was still too buggy for me and my computer so i couldnt use it :(
