Selling my 4GB Max Memory Dock and Player, want new homebrew device for DS

Sorry, I know this must be a frustratingly common question, but what is the best DS slot 1/slot 2 combo for DS homebrew? I would like the slot 2 card to be an SD card reader since SD cards are quite cheap. I'm selling my 4GB MMP/D for two reasons: 1. because it doesn't satisfy my DS homebrew needs, and 2. because I've seen a 4GB HDD and X2 battery for PSP on eBay and I need the cash.
