New release from bootsector: (http://www.brunofreitas.com/portal/?q=node/20) of the Genesis emulator for the PS2:


Now using older ps2hdd related IRX modules instead of latest
PS2SDK ones because console wasn't turning off!
Fixed minor credits screen scroll bug.

just modded my PS2 with the elf loader
file size doesnt effect me because I just copy and boot it from my PS2 HD :D

it works perfect also, after playing it

My ROM's dont show up in the menu do they have to be converted to .elf files as well?

LMAO I just use the PGEN that comes bundled free with Action Replay...not a half-bad deal: cheat codes, backup saves, a media player, and a Genesis emu for $50.

Nope. You should be able to navigate to the folder where your ROMs are hiding in the Main Menu of pGEN.

Im new at this stuff, and noticed the zip file only contains 1 file. How do I use this? Please help.

Depends how you run PS2 homebrew.

For me, i copy it to my memory card and run it from there. Methods to run are: uELF launcher, PS2 mod-chip autoboot etc.

I use swap magic, and was planning on running from a cd with roms on cd as well.... is that possible?

when i start it up it says loading then after that "ERROR Failed yo initialise cdu68k module (1) press start to continue" it does the same when i load game off hdd

this will not run on my slimline ps2 from dvd. (v14 i think)

"not a valid ps2 disc"

i think the elf file is too large or something

pgen 1.2 works

If you're using a ModChip/FMCB, you would probably be better off running the program from your MemCard and storing the ROMS on a USB Flash Drive.

One variation on this is that if you've got ROMs on your PSP already, you can just hook that up to the USB, rather than having multiple copies of your favorite ROMs!

Hi how are you guys? i just discovered all these stuff 3 days ago and is fantastic all that you can do with your PS2.

Thanks to everyone who made this possible and my question is:

I love snow bros sega and in every place i download the game all the time is a .bin file how can i made the PGEN to reed it i should convert it or what i can do if is something that i can do, please i really love this game and a i wanna playit on my PS2.

PS. i cant find a .smd file of the snow bros any help on this too please.

problem solve just convert and run it and thats it i just test it and is really cool.
