Retro City Rampage for PC adds mod support, enhanced graphics

The latest update to the PC version of Brian Provinciano's lo-fi parody adventure, Retro City Rampage, has added mod support and spruced up graphics.According to the game's official site (http://retrocityrampage.com/20130625.php), the 1.11 update's mod support allows players to "create new vehicles, characters, fonts and color palettes."Additionally, a new "Retro+" graphics mode enhances the visuals by boosting real-time soft shadows and doubling the colours on screen. The developer noted that the original 8-bit mode is still available for purists, though.To commemorate this occasion, the game is a whopping 75 per cent off on Steam (http://store.steampowered.com/app/204630/) for the next 23 hours, making it a scant £2.99 / $3.74.
