PSP Portal 117 version 3.0 release!

As I always say, its been a while but I've been busy working on other (PSP) projects which I hope to show results of soon. Also I would like to explain why I make this Portal, firstly, to enable some kind of homebrew to all those not on 1.50 or on custom firmware and secondly, to make better use of the PSP browser which in my view is not used enough. So this can be used on any PSP from 2.00 to 3.11 and custom firmwares too!

Portal 117 Live

Instructions-

1. After Unziping folder place Portal 117 Folder in D:\PSP\COMMON to make D:\PSP\COMMON\Portal 117

2. On your PSP Browser type file:/psp/common/portal117/portal117.htm

3. The main portal page should load up, from here you can select Portal 117 Live, Games, Apps, Media, Demos, Wallpapers, RSS and Podcasts and Links, I would suggest adding the main page to your bookmarks or setting it as your home page for future use.

psp history:
2.6> 2.8 > 1.5 > 3.10 OE-a > 3.10 OE-A2 > (used a theme thing which froze psp after waves appearded but fixed i used recovery mode enabled usb extracted 3.03 oe-c easy installer , moved the 3.03 oe-c installer files to psp/game/recovery then said run recovery and psp went to > 3.03 OE-c good come back i recon

I tried this out just now and it says "Page cannot be displayed" Do i need a wireless internet connection for this?

For some stuff yeah, other stuff you need to have flash enabled and if your tryingto load up the main page then make sure it ends in portal117.htm not .html

If not let me know and i'll try and walk you through it......

Recently i have just been neglecting my PSP, and recently i just got wireless broadband and havn't found any good sites to browse on the psp, especially sonys site (which seems the day that updates there will be no homebrew at all LOL). This Portal 117 is just what i wanted, a regular updated site fit for the PSP, with a whole load of content.

Seriously, PLEASE KEEP UP WITH THIS!!!!!!!!!!!

(By the way i just wanted to ask i had some issues on my psp displaying the video content in "media" a whole load of "code" (giberish) comes up, then after about 10 seconds it says "there is not enough memory"

Please help, it does this for all the video content.

Thanks for the nice comments, I will keep up the Portal, and try saving target as with the videos, they can't be played in the browser (except the flash ones)
