Chip image not final
Wiiva! It will be joining the scene with the likes of CycloWiz, WiiKey, WiiD, Wiinja and Open Source modchips (http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=51085) but will include a few perks such as pre-tinned wires. The chip is being developed by the homebrew Xbox hackers who created the popular dashboard replacement.
We are proud to announce our newest project: Wiiva. Yes, we are now making our first modchip, and it is for the Nintendo Wii! It has all of the great features you would expect from a chip from us, as well as a few more! Features include, but are not limited to:
- Support for all regions
- Upgradeable via DVD
- Direct boot of Wii and GC disks
- Stealth mode
- And a few perks that many other "penny pinching" chip makers don't feel they need to include such as Pre-tinned wires (no more running to the electronics store after buying your chip to get wire) and double sided tape!
Sure, they aren't super flashy, but when you sit down to install your chip and have everything you need right there, you'll be glad you made this choice.
Features:
Supports all Wii regions (PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J)
High quality PCB and components
Comes in high Quality ESD bag
Ready with pretinned wires
Double-sided tape for easy fitting
LED Indicator for checking install and for error readouts
Compatible with DMS, D2A and D2B dvd drive chipsets
Compatible with rev1 and rev2 dvd drive boards
Compatible with DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW and DVD+RW (No need to change bitsettings)
Upgradeable via DVD
Bad flash recovery mode (even recoverable after pernicious code)
Stealth mode
Direct boot Wii games
Direct boot GC games
Boot Wii Imports (Partial)
Boot GC Imports
Multi-disc support
Built-in audio fix
All the features are pretty much similar to that of all the current modchips. No pricing or release date has been given but keep an eye out.
