Changelog:

- Updated from psp firmware 3.10 to 3.30
- Fixed a bug that could have caused inestability in 3.10 OE after recovering from sleep mode.
- Patched a protection that prevents the firmware to load higher firmware modules.

popsloader note: it won't work on 3.30 OE due to sony rearranging again the module list of pspbtcnf_pops.
(thanks sony for destroying my backwards compatibility again ¬¬ ).
I'll make a new version one of these days to support all current pops in 3.30 OE, 3.10 OE and
maybe 3.03 OE-C.

NOTE: Some people seem to think that POPS doesn't work in this version. This is NOT the case. It's just the popsloader for loading 3.00-3.10 POPS that doesn't work. Dark_AleX is working on a new POPSloader.

Dark_AleX has just let us know that custom firmware 3.30 OE is functional and the release date is planned for this evening around midnight. Note that Dark_AleX successfully completed this exploit without having his new PSP in hand. With the assistance of Mathieulh, they managed to fix the last bug in 3.30 OE, the firmware that everyone has waited with patience for several days. The release should arrive this evening about midnight if all is well, because all that remains is to make the automatic installer. Indeed, each OE requires a new specifically coded installer.

3.30 added support for displaying thumbnails under RSS Channel, expanded support for PlayStation Network titles (PS1 games), an increased size limit for videos, support for displaying thumbnails for content saved in the VIDEO folder, and a new option to set the Disc-Load speed to Fast or Normal for PlayStation Network titles.

3.30 OE will include all that, the ability to run all homebrew and UMD backups, ability to change CPU speed, load plugins & recover from partial bricks.

i'm just a little nervous to update yet as well - but i most likely will upgrade- i may wait for some feedback from other users to see if all is well (i only have one psp so i don't want to brick it). I kinda got brave with 3.03 and 3.10oe's and jumped right in and that was fine but I have to be a little more careful i think. Still - I am very excited to see this release. :thumbup:

It would be nice to see an updated popsloader too - so pops330 would work on 3.10oe.

ok, i was talking to my cousin in spain and she told me the time difference.
this is only for those in the east cost: FL-NY etc.
it is around 10:36AM now. over at spain it is around 4:36PM. we have to wait for about 7 1/2 hours until OE comes out. here in the east cost. OE will be released at around 5PM.

Wasn't there an app released awhile ago where it would download all the neccasary files for you and put them in the right directory on your mem stick and it could all be done by clicking the network update icon? And obviously it was flashed otherwise your updating to sonys firmware. All you had to do was run it. Correct me if i'm wrong.

there was also a revision 2 update for 3.10 oe-a to fix web browser and stuff if there was a problem also it fixed the elf error. didnt need it nothing wrong with 3.10 oe-a rev.1

Installation instructions:

- Copy oeupdmaker and oeupdmaker% to /PSP/GAME if you are in 1.50, or to /PSP/GAME150 if you
are in any SE/OE version. Get the 1.50 and 3.30 Sony updaters (of any region, because all are
currently the same), and copy them in the oeupdmaker directory with the names 150.PBP and 330.PBP.

Execute the program, and it will generate the DATA.DXAR file. Although the program will check its
integrity at the end, you can also check it with the following checksums:

CRC32: A0723B56
MD5: DEBFC0488D088C384021231814514DA9
SHA1: 7AB9A6928BD08E26F9BEB18C3A2314AD0C745964

- Copy 330oeflasher and 330oeflasher% to /PSP/GAME if you are in 1.50, or to /PSP/GAME150 if you
are in any SE/OE version. Move the DATA.DXAR to 330oeflasher directory.

You need 75% battery, although you can skip this if you pressed L+triangle while loading the program.

Ok so im under the impression that with a TA motherboard i can not use popstation or dark alex's firmware, so what would be the best emulator i can use to play psx games? Im using ps1p-alpha is anything better in terms of speed and compatibility?
