Modem Direct mode

i have 2 DCs conected with modem

and using the code MODEM_MODE_DIRECT

both side are waiting for conection,

modem_is_conecting () returns 1 all the time

where is my mistake?

That's not how MODEM_MODE_DIRECT was made to operate. Basically, the theory behind it is that you hook your Dreamcast and PC modems together, and force the PC to send an "ATA" , or answer, command to the Dreamcast. I don't think its possible using the modem driver in there to do strictly direct communication between two Dreamcasts, at least not just yet.
